The Tazewell County Genealogical & Historical Society board consists of the elected officers, four elected at-large board members, and the immediate past president. The board has general supervision of the Society between regular meetings, makes recommendations to the Society membership, and performs all other duties as specified by actions of the Society.
Standing Committees are defined in the Bylaws - chairpersons and members must be presented by the President to the Society board for approval. Special Committees are created and appointed by the President.
