Classes are taught by Mary Fouts, a professional genealogist, who is a founding member of our society.  Mary has taught genealogy classes at Illinois Central College and has also written a genealogical column for The Pekin Times newspaper for many years.

Back to Basics

Back to Basics will be presented 9 am - 3 pm on April 12 at the Society's library.

This class will discuss researching each of the three major life events of our ancestors:

• Birth
• Marriage
• Death

Mary will cover where to find and how to use these records.

Cost for the Back to Basics class is $25.
