Family History Research
How to use American maps for property record research
as well as following ancestral migration
patterns.
- Researching
Railroad Records
Why railroad records should be searched by the
family historian. The archives of the Chicago & Northwestern
Railway Historical Society will be used as an example of how railroad
records can be used.
Craig will specifically review the history and data available for
ancestors who worked in South Pekin for the C & NW.
Finding a lot of very valuable family history
artifacts in privies; both rural and urban - what one can expect to find
and how to do it! This humorous lecture
covers finding family data not available in the usual paper resources!
