- Founded
Photo Grafix (a photographic
restoration & retouching studio) in Evanston, Illinois in 1999
- Started doing high-quality
genealogical restoration in 2001 using a combination of photographic,
illustration, and computer skills acquired through formal education and
professional experience.
- Author of the
“Ask the Retoucher” column which is syndicated to genealogical
publications throughout the United States and other countries
- Recently published his second
book - Digital Photo
Preservation Book II
- Conducts classes and workshops

- For do it yourselfers, Eric has published several
tutorial DVDs including a complete class entitled
Photo Restoration & Retouching Foundations that contains 4 DVDs
(over 16 hours of video) and a 100 page workbook.

a free service to provide genealogists a forum to identify lost or
unknown photographs.
