William was born on 15 Aug 1816 and died on 23 Nov 1906.  Phebe was born in 1820 and died in 1894.  Both are buried in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin, Illinois.

William first came to Tazewell County about 1832 with his father Amos.  He established a farm in Groveland Township and became very successful.
